The reason Wolves halted training and increased security revealed

Wolves were reportedly forced to cancel a training session after striker Tolu Arokodare refused to leave the pitch when instructed not to train with the first-team squad.

According to journalist Nathan Judah, the incident prompted the club to call off training and introduce additional security measures at Compton Park to prevent any further disruption.

The Championship side are preparing for life after relegation from the Premier League and are expected to reshape their squad during the summer transfer window.

While Joao Gomes has already completed a move to Aston Villa, Wolves have also strengthened their ranks with the arrivals of experienced duo Kieran Trippier and Raul Jimenez.

However, Arokodare’s future appears increasingly uncertain.

Reports suggest the Nigerian striker has fallen out of favour under new manager Cesar Peixoto and has been left out of the squad for the club’s pre-season fixture against Maidenhead United.

The latest episode is not the first involving Arokodare. Towards the end of last season, he was reportedly fined after an altercation with teammate Mateus Mane following a match against West Ham.

With Wolves keen to maintain discipline and build a united dressing room, the club now appears determined to part ways with the forward before the transfer window closes.

The incident has only intensified speculation that Arokodare’s time at Molineux is nearing its end as Wolves continue their summer rebuild.
