Rangers F.C. gain edge over Middlesbrough F.C. in pursuit of Leeds United F.C. player thanks to 49ers tie
Leeds United F.C. could be set for a summer overhaul if they secure survival in the Premier League, with Joel Piroeamong those likely to move on.
Rangers F.C. remain strongly interested in the striker, having tracked him since the January window. Despite scoring 19 goals in the EFL Championship last season to help Leeds earn promotion, Piroe has struggled for game time this term and is yet to score in the top flight.

With links between Leeds and Rangers through 49ers Enterprises, the Ibrox club may hold an advantage in the race, although Middlesbrough F.C. are also monitoring the situation.
Leeds could also look to offload Joe Gelhardt, who has impressed on loan at Hull City A.F.C. and is attracting interest ahead of a potential permanent move.
