Derek McInnes hints at Vanja Dragojevic announcement after Rangers breakthrough
Derek McInnes has revealed Rangers are hoping to complete two more signings in the coming days as the club continues its busy summer rebuild at Ibrox.
The Light Blues have already strengthened the squad with the arrivals of Lawrence Shankland, Ivor Pandur, Ross McCrorie, Ben Godfrey, Dan Neil and Cameron Devlin following last season’s disappointing campaign.

A seventh signing also appears close, with reports suggesting Serbian youngster Vanja Dragojevic is due to undergo a medical ahead of completing his move to Rangers.
McInnes has now confirmed the club is still working hard behind the scenes to add further reinforcements before next week’s friendly against Saint-Étienne.
“The club has done a fantastic job bringing in the players we felt we needed after last season,” McInnes told Rangers TV.
“Our aim is to build a stronger and more balanced squad. The work isn’t finished yet, and we’re still hoping to complete another couple of deals before the Saint-Étienne game on Wednesday.”
While Rangers continue to pursue new arrivals, one reported target could now be slipping away.
The Ibrox side have been linked with Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl, with reports claiming club representatives travelled to Norway in an attempt to progress negotiations.
However, recent updates suggest Rangers are becoming increasingly resigned to missing out on the midfielder after rival interest intensified, with Cardiff City also pushing to secure his signature.
Despite that setback, McInnes remains focused on adding the quality needed to ensure Rangers are ready for the challenges of the new season.
