The latest on Hayden Hackney’s future amid renewed Everton F.C. interest
Hayden Hackney remains one of the most talked-about names in the transfer market, with several Premier League clubs monitoring his situation this summer.
The Middlesbrough F.C. midfielder has entered the final year of his contract, and while interest continues to build, the club are yet to receive an offer that matches their asking price.
Everton F.C. are still being linked, with fresh reports suggesting they could return with an improved package after previous bids were turned away.
Crystal Palace F.C. have also been mentioned, although their valuation is believed to be lower, with suggestions they could explore player-plus-cash options.
Despite the speculation, Middlesbrough’s position has stayed firm — they will only consider selling if their demands are fully met for the 24-year-old, who was one of the standout performers in the Championship last season.
For now, Hackney is expected to report back for pre-season and travel with the squad unless a major breakthrough happens in the coming days.
