St Mirren vs Rangers: Full injury list ahead of Scottish Premiership encounter

Rangers and St Mirren are dealing with several injury concerns ahead of their Scottish Premiership meeting on Saturday, with both sides facing potential selection headaches.

The Gers head into the fixture looking to capitalise on Celtic’s recent setback against Falkirk. The Hoops’ 2-0 defeat has left Rangers just four points behind the league leaders, with the Ibrox side also having a game in hand.

St Mirren, meanwhile, occupy eighth position in the Premiership and have struggled for consistency, managing just one victory across their last five league outings.

What is the latest on Rangers’ injury situation?

Rangers are hoping to welcome several players back over the coming weeks, although four senior members of the squad are expected to remain unavailable for Saturday’s encounter.

Badredine Bouanani is expected to be available despite recently struggling with illness, while McInnes has also provided updates on Daisuke Yokota, Lawrence Shankland, Cammy Devlin and Ross McCrorie.

Speaking ahead of the match, the Rangers manager revealed that Yokota is targeting a return to training towards the end of November.

He also indicated that Devlin and Shankland are aiming to get back on the pitch during the first week of December, although both still have important stages of their recovery to complete.

McInnes suggested that a potential return for the pair ahead of the Scottish League Cup final on December 13 remains possible, provided their rehabilitation continues without complications.
