Southampton manager gives Bristol City verdict and extends Roy Hodgson invite before Reds clash
Tonda Eckert has described Bristol City F.C. as a “very solid team” ahead of their trip to St Mary’s, while the Southampton F.C. boss also joked that Roy Hodgson is “more than welcome” to join him for a post-match glass of wine on the south coast.
The Robins are set to take on the Saints on Tuesday evening in what will be the penultimate away fixture of Hodgson’s interim spell in charge.

Eckert acknowledged the challenge his side faces, with Southampton heading into the clash in top form after winning each of their last eight matches across all competitions.
