Sheffield Wednesday interested in signing Birmingham City striker
Sheffield Wednesday have taken every opportunity to strengthen Henrik Pedersen’s stretched squad this season, bringing in several loan players despite ongoing EFL restrictions and a difficult campaign.
The Owls have endured a turbulent year following the departure of former owner Dejphon Chansiri, with administration issues leaving the club in a weakened position. A mass summer exit of players left Pedersen short of options, with only Harry Amass and Ethan Horvath initially arriving on loan.

Further reinforcements followed in January, including Tayo Adaramola, Murphy Cooper, Jaden Heskey, Marvelous Nakamba, Joel Ndala, and Jerry Yates. However, those additions have done little to change results on the pitch, with relegation confirmed in February after defeat to Sheffield United.
Attention has now shifted to the future, particularly with David Storch’s proposed takeover offering fresh hope. As part of their planning, Wednesday are targeting a move for Birmingham City youngster Frank Tattum.
The 20-year-old forward is currently on trial at Hillsborough and made an immediate impact by scoring in the under-21s’ 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic. Tattum, who has had loan spells at Alvechurch and Leamington, is expected to leave Birmingham at the end of the season and could feature again during his trial period.
