Reasons why EFL Championship clubs have rejected the introduction of a VAR-style system next season
EFL Championship clubs have rejected the opportunity to introduce a version of video review technology for next season, opting against adopting the proposed system.
A simplified form of VAR known as Football Video Support (FVS), which uses fewer resources and allows each coach two reviews per match, had been considered for introduction from August.

However, after a presentation from Professional Game Match Officials Limited at the league’s annual meeting, feedback from clubs showed strong opposition to any form of video-assisted system.
