Rangers suffer major injury blow ahead of Dundee United clash
Rangers FC have been dealt a significant injury setback just hours before their crucial Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee United at Ibrox.
Under Danny Röhl, Rangers have surged into title contention after a slow start to the campaign under Russell Martin.

They head into the weekend just three points behind leaders Heart of Midlothian, having climbed above Celtic FC into second place following a convincing win over Aberdeen FC before the international break.
A victory over Dundee United could send the Light Blues top—at least temporarily—but they will have to manage without a key player.
Röhl confirmed on Friday that one member of his squad has picked up a more serious injury in training and will miss the match.
“We have some small issues, one bigger issue—one player will be out for tomorrow,” he said. “It’s a bit of a shame, but it happens in football.”
The unnamed player is also expected to be sidelined beyond this weekend, with a return likely only after the league split.
There was, however, a boost for Rangers, as Andreas Skov Olsen is set to return after missing the previous match through illness. Aside from that and the long-term absence of Bailey Rice, Röhl is close to having a full squad available.
With the title race heating up, this latest setback could prove a crucial test of Rangers’ depth and resilience.
