Fresh Tomáš Čvančara update emerges over Celtic future
Tomáš Čvančara Celtic future update as Hoops make transfer decision
Tomáš Čvančara appears set to return to Borussia Mönchengladbach this summer, with reports suggesting Celtic F.C. have decided against making his move permanent.

According to reports from Germany, Celtic are not expected to activate the €8 million option-to-buy clause after the striker’s difficult and injury-hit spell in Glasgow.
Čvančara arrived in January hoping to make an instant impact during a tense title push, but things never fully clicked despite flashes of promise. Fans will still remember his composed penalty in the shootout victory over Rangers F.C. at Ibrox, while he also chipped in creatively with assists against Heart of Midlothian F.C. and Kilmarnock F.C..
At his best, the Czech forward offered Celtic something different physically, using his strength to trouble defenders, attack crosses and link play in attacking areas. Early performances hinted there could be more to come once he found rhythm and fitness.
However, consistency proved to be the major problem.
The striker finished with two league goals and two assists, but there were key moments where missed chances proved costly. His display against Dundee F.C. at Dens Park stood out, with opportunities missed during a crucial stage of the season.
While there were glimpses of quality and intelligent movement, Celtic now appear unconvinced that his performances justified the size of the permanent transfer fee.
