Everton make breakthrough in Tyrique George talks as West Ham eye Toffees forward
Everton F.C. have reached a full agreement with Chelsea F.C. to complete the permanent signing of Tyrique George, with the deal expected to pave the way for the departure of one of David Moyes’ current wide players.
The Toffees recently strengthened their midfield by signing Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough F.C. for an initial £16.5 million, and attention has now turned to securing George’s future.

Although Everton chose not to activate the £25 million purchase option included in George’s loan agreement, negotiations continued behind the scenes. The two clubs have now settled on a revised package worth £18 million upfront, with an additional £6 million linked to performance-based bonuses.
Everton remain convinced of the 20-year-old’s long-term potential despite his limited appearances last season. George also enjoyed his spell at Goodison Park and has been eager to make the move permanent.
George’s arrival could open the door for Dwight McNeil to leave Merseyside. The winger came close to joining Crystal Palace F.C. during the January transfer window before the deal fell through.
Now, West Ham United F.C. are reportedly monitoring McNeil as they consider attacking reinforcements, with uncertainty surrounding the future of Crysencio Summerville, who has been linked with Manchester United F.C..
