Celtic dealing with a possible new injury setback during a critical phase
Celtic’s title push could face another setback, with Colby Donovan set to undergo tests ahead of Saturday’s crucial clash with St Mirren.
At a vital stage of the season, Martin O’Neill is dealing with growing concerns at right-back. Julian Araujo has been unavailable since the Scottish Cup win at Ibrox, while Alistair Johnston suffered a further setback during Canada training, delaying his return.

If Donovan is ruled out, Antony Ralston would be the only recognised senior option remaining. Although Donovan has not been flawless, he has impressed enough to earn the trust of the coaching staff, making this latest concern significant.
With just six league games left and Celtic three points off the top, the timing could hardly be worse. While there is still hope Araujo may return before the season ends, uncertainty remains—leaving Celtic dangerously short in a key position.
