Police have made another arrest in connection with the disorder that erupted during Celtic’s title celebrations in Glasgow last month.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged over an alleged breach of the peace. He has since been released on an undertaking and is due to appear in court at a later date.

The arrest forms part of an ongoing investigation into disturbances linked to Celtic’s Premiership title celebrations on Saturday, May 16.

Earlier incidents saw four arrests made at Parkhead during the match, while a further ten people were detained in Glasgow’s Trongate area following disorder in the city centre.

The arrests relate to a range of alleged offences, including mobbing and rioting, resisting arrest, assaulting police officers and possession of offensive weapons. Police also confiscated pyrotechnics and alcohol at both locations.

Two officers sustained serious injuries during the incidents, while three members of the public were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police Scotland say inquiries remain ongoing, with significant investigations still underway.

A Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) remains active, allowing members of the public to submit information, photographs or video footage connected to incidents at Parkhead or Trongate.
