Cardiff City manager’s wife Sarah-Jane Crawford captures dramatic late Wrexham draw
Sarah-Jane Crawford shares inside look at Cardiff City’s dramatic late Wrexham draw
Sarah-Jane Crawford has given fans a glimpse into the dramatic scenes that followed Cardiff City’s late equaliser against Wrexham, with Manchester City star Jack Grealish among those celebrating alongside her.
The television and radio presenter, who is married to Cardiff City manager Brian Barry-Murphy, watched the Championship clash from the director’s box at Cardiff City Stadium as the Bluebirds looked destined to suffer defeat.

Wrexham made the perfect start when former Cardiff striker Kieffer Moore found the net just three minutes into the match.
Cardiff pushed hard for an equaliser but struggled to break down a determined Wrexham defence. With the visitors seemingly on course for a memorable away victory, the hosts were handed one final opportunity deep into stoppage time.
Joel Colwill was brought down just outside the penalty area in the 96th minute, setting up a dramatic finale.
Two minutes later, Rubin Colwill stepped up and produced a stunning free-kick, curling the ball into the top corner and sending the Cardiff supporters into wild celebrations.
Crawford captured the incredible reaction from inside the director’s box and later shared the footage on Instagram.
The video showed her celebrating alongside Grealish, with the pair visibly delighted by Colwill’s late equaliser.
She captioned the post: “Straight from the camera roll! That game nearly finished me off.”
It was another memorable Cardiff occasion for Crawford, who has become a regular presence around the club since her husband’s appointment.
The 43-year-old has consistently shown her support for Barry-Murphy and Cardiff, including during their promotion celebrations earlier in the year.
Crawford previously captured the emotional moment Cardiff secured their return to the Championship, describing the dramatic scenes as “absolute cinema scenes.”
Grealish was also in Cardiff shortly before the Wrexham match, having appeared as a second-half substitute for Manchester City during their 3-0 Community Shield defeat to Arsenal at the Principality Stadium.
