Andrew Cavenagh is taking an increasingly active role at Rangers F.C. as the club prepares for the summer transfer window.

The chairman has been a regular presence at Ibrox and has stayed in close contact with manager Danny Röhl regarding developments behind the scenes.

While the squad is currently in Spain for a warm-weather training camp, Röhl is expected to meet with club officials soon to discuss recruitment plans.

Cavenagh has also made efforts to engage with supporters, attending both home and away matches and even linking up with a fan group in the United States. At the same time, he is closely monitoring spending and potential signings ahead of the upcoming window.

According to Keith Jackson, sources within the club suggest that Cavenagh is heavily involved in transfer dealings. Speaking on Hotline Live, Jackson noted that while some may see this hands-on approach as positive, others could question it due to Cavenagh’s limited football background—though he is consulting experienced figures for guidance.

Röhl is particularly focused on strengthening the defence, with several current players expected to return to their parent clubs. Luke Graham of Dundee F.C. is reportedly a key target, and a deal could be completed early.

Elsewhere, Andy Robertson has been linked with a move to Rangers, although Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and Celtic F.C.are also said to be interested in the departing Liverpool F.C. defender.

In attack, Tyrese Campbell is admired by Röhl, but no formal move has been made yet for the Sheffield United F.C.striker.
