£20m asking price placed by Rangers F.C. as West Ham United F.C. circle
Rangers F.C. have placed a £20 million valuation on defender Emmanuel Fernandez amid growing interest from West Ham United F.C. and other clubs.
The 24-year-old centre-back has impressed since arriving from Peterborough United F.C., establishing himself as a key figure in the squad under Danny Röhl. Fernandez has made 20 Scottish Premiership starts this season and has also contributed five goals, underlining his threat at both ends of the pitch.

Having signed him for a relatively modest fee last summer, Rangers now stand to make a significant profit should they decide to sell. Reports suggest the club would demand around £20 million, potentially earning more than £15 million above their initial investment.
Interest from the Premier League continues to grow, with West Ham among those monitoring his situation. However, Rangers are keen to retain one of their standout performers, particularly as they push to secure a strong finish in the title race.
Qualification for European competition could play a crucial role in convincing Fernandez to stay, but a substantial offer may prove difficult to reject. As the club looks to build for the future and compete with rivals such as Celtic F.C. and Heart of Midlothian F.C., keeping key players like Fernandez could be vital.
At just 24, the defender is seen as a central part of Rangers’ long-term plans, while already delivering strong performances in the present.
