What cameras missed in Rangers vs Falkirk as Andrew Cavenagh interacts with supporters and Gassama makes feelings clear
Rangers F.C. wrapped up their Scottish Premiership season with an entertaining 5-2 victory over Falkirk F.C. at Falkirk Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Youssef Chermiti wasted no time putting Rangers in control, firing the visitors into a two-goal lead within the opening six minutes. However, a costly mistake from goalkeeper Jack Butland quickly handed Falkirk a way back into the contest. Djeidi Gassama soon restored Rangers’ cushion, but Calvin Miller’s controversial penalty ensured the hosts remained in touching distance as the sides went into the break with the score at 3-2.

The second half proved more comfortable for Danny Röhl’s side, with Chermiti completing his hat-trick before Thelo Aasgaard converted from the spot to seal a convincing victory.
Although Rangers had already been guaranteed a third-place finish regardless of the result, the win brought an end to a disappointing four-match losing streak and offered a positive conclusion to the league campaign.
Away from the action on the pitch, several notable moments caught attention at Falkirk Stadium. Rangers figures Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe were once again present, joining chief executive Jim Gillespie in the stands.
According to Daily Record reporter Andy Newport, the trio were seen interacting with travelling Rangers supporters during half-time, taking time to speak with fans as the visitors held a narrow advantage in the match.
