Rangers make move for Oliver Antman amid growing transfer competition
Anderlecht join Derby County in race for Rangers winger Oliver Antman
Rangers are facing increasing interest in Oliver Antman, with Anderlecht joining Derby County in the race to sign the Finnish international before the transfer window closes.
The Belgian club have reportedly submitted an offer worth £4 million, but Rangers are understood to be holding out for a higher fee before sanctioning the 24-year-old’s departure.

Derby remain firmly in the picture, although neither club has yet matched Rangers’ valuation. Both sides are keen to conclude a deal in the coming days as the battle for Antman’s signature gathers pace.
Anderlecht is believed to be the winger’s preferred destination at this stage, but the player has not ruled out any of his options while discussions continue.
Dutch outfit FC Twente have also been credited with an interest, although they are yet to make a formal approach.
Should Rangers agree to sell Antman, the proceeds could be reinvested into Derek McInnes’ squad as he looks to strengthen his options out wide. Coventry City’s Jahnoah Markelo, potentially on loan, and Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry are among the players being monitored.
Rangers are aiming to secure a fee that exceeds the £3.5 million they paid Go Ahead Eagles to sign Antman last summer. The winger has shown flashes of quality but has struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter at Ibrox.
Elsewhere, Rangers continue to work on incoming business, with a deal worth around £3 million for Philadelphia Union defender Olwethu Makhanya edging closer.
There could also be movement in central defence, with John Souttar attracting interest from several clubs. Sheffield United are considered the frontrunners, while Watford, Cardiff City and Swansea City have also been linked. League One side Leicester City are reportedly monitoring the situation as well.
