Rangers F.C. boss Danny Röhl ready to leave Ibrox if specific demand is not fulfilled
Danny Röhl is reportedly prepared to walk away from Rangers F.C. this summer — but only if the German coach receives an attractive offer from another club.
The pressure has intensified on Röhl following a disastrous run of results that has seen Rangers’ title challenge collapse after damaging defeats to Heart of Midlothian F.C. and fierce rivals Celtic F.C..

Those setbacks have sparked growing debate around the manager’s future at Ibrox, with reports suggesting divisions have emerged within the Rangers boardroom regarding whether Röhl is still the right man to lead the project forward.
According to Football Insider, the Rangers boss would now consider leaving the club if another suitable opportunity presents itself during the summer, despite arriving in Glasgow less than a year ago.
Former Manchester United F.C. scout Mick Brown claimed Röhl continues to attract strong interest because of the reputation he built during his time at Sheffield Wednesday F.C..
Brown suggested several Championship clubs previously wanted to appoint the German coach before he moved to Rangers, while a return to Germany has also been discussed as a realistic possibility. He admitted he would not be surprised if Röhl eventually decided to leave Ibrox for a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Despite the speculation, however, a departure still appears far from certain. Röhl himself has strongly downplayed rumours of an imminent exit and recently insisted he continues to receive major backing from Rangers’ hierarchy.
Speaking publicly after the recent criticism surrounding his position, the Rangers boss revealed he had received “unbelievable” support from the board over the last few days and stressed there was “no question mark” hanging over his future.
The uncertainty nevertheless leaves Rangers facing a potentially crucial summer, with supporters increasingly frustrated after a season that promised far more following heavy investment and major expectations at Ibrox.
