Latest Celtic transfer news as Tuesday deadline approaches
Celtic transfer latest as Martin O’Neill targets two more signings
Celtic could still make further additions to their squad before Tuesday’s registration deadline, despite the main UEFA deadline already passing.
Haissem Hassan and Mika Baur both made their Celtic debuts at the weekend after completing their moves to Parkhead, and both players were registered in time to feature in the club’s Champions League squad.

However, Celtic have been given an additional opportunity to strengthen before their Champions League play-off against LASK.
Celtic pushing for more signings
Martin O’Neill can still add two players to the squad that will face LASK, with any new arrivals needing to be registered by late Tuesday if they are to be eligible for the upcoming fixtures.
Celtic are reportedly trying to complete one or two deals before that deadline.
The Hoops are understood to be prioritising a left-back and a goalkeeper, while Arne Engels’ expected departure has created another need in midfield.
That could see Celtic return to the transfer market for a replacement as O’Neill looks to strengthen his options.
Few developments on Celtic exits
There has been comparatively little movement regarding potential departures, which will come as welcome news to the Celtic boss.
Alistair Johnston’s injury could also complicate any plans for further exits, particularly with Celtic already needing to manage their defensive options.
There has also been little recent transfer noise surrounding Ben Nygren, who has enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign with six goal involvements in his first three competitive appearances.
With Tuesday’s deadline approaching, Celtic now have a short window to complete any final additions before turning their full attention to the Champions League showdown with LASK.
