Celtic
How Celtic have taken charge of the Premiership title
Celtic’s 2-1 victory over Dundee FC could prove decisive in the title race, shifting momentum back in their favour as the season enters its final stretch.
The result leaves the Hoops just two points behind Rangers and three off leaders Heart of Midlothian with six games remaining. While Derek McInnes showed signs of tension after Hearts dropped points against Livingston, and Martin O’Neill expressed frustration with Celtic’s display, the bigger picture now favours the Bhoys.

Celtic hold three key advantages in the title race. Firstly, their path is straightforward — win all remaining matches and the title is theirs. With 18 points still available, including clashes against both Hearts and Rangers, their destiny remains firmly in their own hands.
Secondly, Celtic will host both of their title rivals at home. With a packed Parkhead behind them, those fixtures could provide a crucial edge in such a tight race.
Finally, experience could prove vital. Celtic’s squad is familiar with winning under pressure, whereas Hearts are chasing a historic breakthrough and Rangers have had limited domestic success in recent years. That winning mentality could ultimately make the difference.
While there is still work to be done, Celtic now appear to be in the strongest position to seize the Scottish Premiership crown.
