Celtic transfer boost as Haissem Hassan prepares for medical
Haissem Hassan set to travel for Celtic medical as transfer nears completion
Haissem Hassan is expected to travel to the UK on Tuesday as Celtic move closer to completing a deal for the Real Oviedo winger.
The 24-year-old has been waiting for permission to make the journey while Celtic and Oviedo continue to finalise the remaining details of the transfer.

Sources close to the Spanish club indicate that Hassan could arrive in the UK on Tuesday, with the proposed move now entering its final stages. While the deal is understood to be close, there is still work to be completed before Celtic can officially welcome the winger.
Hassan’s medical will be an important part of the process, with the transfer not considered complete until the necessary checks have been successfully carried out and the relevant paperwork has been signed.
The winger was recently left out of Oviedo’s squad for their meeting with Le Havre. His absence was not due to an injury, further fuelling speculation that his departure from the Spanish club was approaching.
Hassan has reportedly been keen on the switch to Glasgow throughout the negotiations, and Celtic are now edging closer to securing one of their key attacking targets.
The Hoops will be hoping there are no late complications as they attempt to complete the deal and make Hassan available for their upcoming Champions League clash with LASK.
For now, the transfer remains subject to the final formalities. However, Hassan’s expected arrival in the UK on Tuesday would represent another significant step towards him becoming a Celtic player.
