Celtic F.C. weigh up club-record move following in-person scouting mission
Celtic F.C. have stepped up their interest in Issa Doumbia after conducting in-person scouting checks on the Venezia F.C.midfielder.
The 22-year-old is reportedly valued at around £12 million, a fee that would see Celtic break their transfer record if they proceed with a deal this summer.
Despite a turbulent campaign at Celtic Park, the Bhoys remain firmly in the Scottish Premiership title race, sitting three points behind leaders Heart of Midlothian F.C. with a crucial final-day clash still to come.

Doumbia’s performances in Serie B — where he ranks highly for possession recoveries — have made him a standout target, though questions remain over whether Celtic will meet the asking price.
