Barry Ferguson blasts Celtic F.C. decision to ignore away-fan agreement
Barry Ferguson has blasted Celtic F.C., admitting he is “absolutely raging” over the club’s refusal to honour an agreement to allow Rangers F.C. fans into Parkhead.
The row erupted after Celtic made it clear no away tickets would be issued unless Rangers agreed to block members of the Union Bears. The Ibrox side rejected those terms outright and escalated the issue to the SPFL board, warning it risks damaging the integrity of the title race.

Rangers insist removing away supporters from such a crucial fixture creates a competitive imbalance and sets a dangerous precedent. The club also stressed their commitment to safety while condemning the pitch invasion that sparked the dispute.
But Ferguson wasn’t having it. He made it clear the agreement must be honoured, insisting Rangers are entitled to their full allocation. Ally McCoist has also weighed in, branding Celtic’s stance a “disgrace”.
