Celtic set asking price as Everton and Fulham weigh Alistair Johnston move
Celtic set Alistair Johnston valuation as Everton and Fulham circle
Celtic are reportedly prepared to consider offers in the region of £14 million for Alistair Johnston, with Everton and Fulham both showing interest in the Canadian international.
Johnston has attracted attention from the Premier League after returning from injury to produce a series of impressive performances for Canada at the World Cup.

The 27-year-old has established himself as one of Celtic’s most consistent performers since arriving in Glasgow in January 2023, becoming a key figure at right-back whenever fit.
Although recurring hamstring issues restricted his involvement at times last season, Johnston is now believed to be firmly on the radar of several English clubs ahead of the transfer deadline.
Reports suggest Celtic would be willing to sanction a sale if an offer worth around £14 million is received, with the Scottish champions understood to have placed that valuation on the defender.
Everton are thought to be leading the race after holding discussions with Johnston’s representatives, while Fulham have also entered the picture as they assess a potential move.
The Premier League duo are both monitoring developments closely, with Everton expected to step up their pursuit in the coming weeks.
Since joining Celtic, Johnston has made 122 appearances, contributing seven goals and 23 assists while helping the club enjoy sustained domestic success.
Whether either interested club is prepared to match Celtic’s reported asking price remains to be seen, but Johnston’s future is expected to remain one of the key transfer stories to watch before the window closes.
