Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. have completed the signing of promising teenage striker Chris Condy from Rangers F.C..

Condy joined Rangers from Hamilton Academical F.C. in the summer of 2025 and quickly established himself as one of the academy’s standout prospects. The Scotland youth international featured for both the club’s B team and Under-18 side, scoring more than 20 goals before the middle of January.

Because he was still only 16, Rangers were unable to offer him a professional contract, leaving the door open for other clubs to pursue his signature. Although many believed he had the talent to eventually break into the first team at Ibrox, the youngster has instead opted to continue his development in England.

Condy is now preparing for the next stage of his career with Brighton, where he will hope to continue his progress and eventually earn a place in the Premier League.

The transfer had been expected for several months. Earlier reports indicated that Brighton had already agreed a compensation package with Rangers, while the striker was also given permission to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms before the move was finalised.
