Defender Ricardo Santos makes switch from Swansea City A.F.C. to Sheffield Wednesday F.C.
Sheffield Wednesday F.C. have completed the signing of defender Ricardo Santos from Swansea City A.F.C. on a one-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The move marks Wednesday’s first addition since the club emerged from administration following its takeover by Arise Capital Partners earlier this year.
The 31-year-old arrives with an option to extend his stay by another 12 months as the Owls prepare for life in League One after last season’s relegation.

Santos spent just one season at Swansea after joining from Bolton Wanderers F.C., where he featured only once. Before that, he built up strong experience with Bolton, making over 170 league appearances across five campaigns.
The defender also earned his first international call-up for Cape Verde national football team last season, adding further experience to Wednesday’s backline.
