As things stand, Rangers could benefit from a Celtic victory in that clash, as it would take points off the current leaders, though the dynamics of the race may shift before then.

Despite leading for much of the campaign, Hearts could still face the possibility of dropping from first to third depending on how results unfold in the closing weeks.

According to the BBC, the scheduling gives Rangers a potential advantage. While both Celtic and Hearts may head into a high-pressure final-day encounter that could determine the title, Rangers avoid such a direct showdown.

Instead, their campaign concludes with a more straightforward away trip to Falkirk, allowing them to focus fully on their own performance without the added psychological strain of a decisive head-to-head clash.
