Former Celtic star sends message of hope to Martin O’Neill
Lubo Moravčík has once again shared his thoughts on Celtic FC, and even in a brief Q+A, his passion for the club, the stadium, and the big occasions is clear.
Reflecting on his time at Celtic Park, Moravčík highlighted the attacking style of his team, with the memorable 6-2 victory over Rangers FC standing out as an example of how open and dominant Celtic could be, punishing opponents with quality in the final third.
He keeps up with the club closely, following results and watching how the team has evolved since Martin O’Neill returned.

Moravčík said: “The best atmosphere I ever played in was the 6-2 game against Rangers. Eight goals in an Old Firm match kept the fans going the entire game.
“Celtic Park is a special place. Every game there was a real pleasure with a fantastic atmosphere. Now, thanks to the internet, I can follow everything on my phone. I see all the news about Celtic immediately.
“I’m very happy for him [O’Neill]. He’s still fit and sharp, which is great for Celtic. Since his return, results have improved. I hope he wins the title this season and I wish everyone at Celtic all the best.”
