“Delighted to Have Him” – Manager Celebrates Agreement With Rangers Star
Ryan Naderi’s impressive start to life at Rangers has earned him international recognition, with Czech Republic manager Santi Denia delighted to have the attacker commit his future to the national team.
Naderi has established himself as an important part of Derek McInnes’ Rangers side since arriving at Ibrox and was rewarded with his first senior call-up by the Czech Republic.
Rangers had to work hard to get the deal over the line, making several attempts to sign the forward from Hansa Rostock during the January transfer window.
The German club were initially reluctant to part with their player but eventually agreed to a deadline-day transfer after Rangers reportedly committed more than €5.5m to the deal.
Naderi made three goals and three assists in the remainder of last season after joining Rangers and has continued to impress following McInnes’ arrival.
The 23-year-old has started regularly this term, producing four goals and three assists in 11 appearances.
Naderi chooses Czech Republic
Naderi was born in Germany but has Czech heritage through his mother, meaning he was eligible to represent either country at international level.
The Rangers attacker had already made his preference clear, with Czech Republic assistant coach Radek Bejbl previously confirming that the player was keen to represent the nation.
The necessary paperwork was being processed before the Czech Football Association confirmed that Naderi would join up with the senior squad.
He is now set to train alongside his new international teammates as he begins his first experience of senior international football.
Naderi’s recent numbers help explain why the Czech Republic were keen to secure his services.

His performances since moving to Scotland have continued to attract attention, with his regular involvement for Rangers helping him make the step up to international level.
Czech boss excited about Rangers forward
Denia spoke about Naderi after the Czech Republic’s 2-0 Nations League defeat against England, expressing his satisfaction at securing the Rangers player’s commitment.
The Czech boss believes the forward can become an important figure for the national side in both the immediate and longer-term future.
He also highlighted Naderi’s desire to represent the Czech Republic, something the coaching staff clearly valued when making their decision.
Naderi’s international debut could potentially have come sooner, but administrative issues delayed the completion of the necessary documentation.
There is still uncertainty over whether the Rangers forward will be cleared in time to feature in the upcoming fixtures against Spain and England.
Regardless, his inclusion represents another significant milestone in what has been a rapid rise for the Rangers attacker.
After making the move from Hansa Rostock earlier this year, Naderi has quickly established himself as a regular at Ibrox and now has the opportunity to begin building an international career with the Czech Republic.
