Fresh transfer priorities emerge for Rangers F.C. following Ross McCrorie development

Rangers F.C. are moving closer to bringing Ross McCrorie back to Ibrox, but the club’s transfer work is far from over.

The 28-year-old defender, who previously came through the Rangers academy before spells with Aberdeen F.C. and Bristol City F.C., is expected to strengthen the right-back position following the departure of James Tavernier and the end of Max Aarons’ loan.

But attention is already shifting to the next key areas for boss Derek McInnes.

Reports suggest Rangers are now prioritising two new centre-backs, a central midfielder, and a starting right winger as they continue reshaping the squad for the new campaign.

McInnes knows McCrorie well from their time together at Aberdeen and has previously praised him highly, describing him as a player he values both on and off the pitch.

With the new season approaching, Rangers’ rebuild appears to be gathering pace — but fans will be watching closely to see who arrives next.
