Femi Azeez sends fresh Millwall message as Ipswich Town rumours grow
Femi Azeez drops fresh Millwall future hint amid Ipswich Town transfer talk
Femi Azeez has offered a telling update on his future at Millwall amid growing speculation linking him with a summer move to Ipswich Town.
The winger enjoyed a standout campaign for Millwall, registering 11 goals and eight assists after arriving from Reading in 2024, helping the Lions mount a serious promotion challenge in the Championship.

Despite finishing strongly, Millwall suffered heartbreak after missing automatic promotion and then falling to a play-off semi-final defeat against Hull City, whose Wembley triumph over Middlesbrough secured Premier League football.
Azeez’s impressive form has not gone unnoticed. Ipswich saw multiple bids rejected in January, and reports suggest the newly promoted side have now returned with a fresh £20 million offer, only for Millwall to stand firm with an asking price closer to £30 million.
Amid the transfer noise, Azeez has now spoken publicly about his ambitions after impressing on international duty with Nigeria, scoring twice on debut in a win over Zimbabwe to help set up a Unity Cup final clash with Jamaica.
Reflecting on his progress, the 24-year-old admitted he remains determined to keep climbing.
“Whenever I achieve something, I’m always hungry for more. I’m never satisfied,” Azeez said.
He also made no secret of his long-term target, adding that playing in the Premier League is “the pinnacle of football” and something he would “love” to achieve.
However, the winger also appeared to send an encouraging message to Millwall supporters, insisting the squad remain motivated after their painful play-off exit.
Azeez praised the team’s efforts across the season and suggested the disappointment against Hull could drive the group forward, admitting the players are “hungry for more” after narrowly missing out.
While his comments hint that he remains invested in Millwall’s future, his openness about wanting Premier League football will inevitably fuel talk of a move to Ipswich, where manager Kieran McKenna is believed to remain a keen admirer.
Whether the Tractor Boys are willing to meet Millwall’s reported valuation remains the key question — but Azeez’s latest remarks have only added fresh intrigue to an already growing transfer saga.
