3 winger signings Norwich City should explore to strengthen formation
3 wingers Norwich City should consider to strengthen Philippe Clement’s attack this summer
After an impressive turnaround under Philippe Clement, Norwich City F.C. will be hoping to push into the Championship play-off places next season.
The Canaries climbed to ninth place after Clement took over with the club in the relegation zone, and with promotion ambitions growing at Carrow Road, strengthening the wide areas looks like a priority this summer.

Here are three winger options Norwich should seriously consider:
1. Derensili Sanches Fernandes (Excelsior)
The Dutch winger could be an exciting and affordable option for Norwich after impressing with Excelsior following their return to the Eredivisie.
Sanches Fernandes is direct, fearless in one-v-one situations and enjoys taking on defenders. He also offers a goal threat, often arriving late in dangerous areas rather than simply hugging the touchline.
With only a year remaining on his contract, Norwich could potentially secure a deal at a reasonable price.
2. Romain Esse (Crystal Palace)
After helping Coventry City F.C. earn promotion during a loan spell, Esse could be an ideal temporary addition from Crystal Palace F.C..
Still only 21, the winger has huge potential but may need regular football to continue his development. A season under Clement’s guidance in an attack-minded Norwich side could benefit both player and club.
His pace, creativity and ability to beat defenders would bring another dimension to Norwich’s frontline.
3. Adrian Segecic (Portsmouth)
Segecic enjoyed a standout campaign with Portsmouth F.C., contributing goals and assists while playing a key role in their strong season.
The 21-year-old offers versatility in attack, a willingness to shoot from distance and quality delivery from set-pieces. With room to develop further, he could represent a smart long-term investment for Norwich.
With wide reinforcements clearly high on the agenda, any of these three could help Norwich take another step forward under Clement as they target a return to the Premier League.
