Everton
When Michael Keane scored for Everton against Ipswich, fans could be heard shouting….
When Everton played Ipswich, it was one of their best games of the season as a whole. Fans even sang a song about Michael Keane.
After a rough first five Premier League games, it’s still hard to believe how quickly things have turned around for the better at Everton.
A few days ago, Dwight McNeil said that Michael Keane was the best shot at Everton. He proved it on the field by scoring the first goal against Ipswich.
Keane wasn’t playing well at the start of the season. His game against Bournemouth was especially bad; he was called a nervous wreck.
Fans sang after he scored against Ipswich, though, because his play was getting better and he had scored.
Signs that Everton fans could hear making about Michael Keane
When you have a break from school for the summer, you can really work on things and loosen up. Michael Keane seems to have made good use of his time because he’s become a different player.
Now that Jarrad Branthwaite kept a clean sheet, it’s up to him to get back into the Everton team, which is a good choice by Dyche.
Keane scored his goal like an attacker by hitting it high into the roof of the net from a tight angle. Fans in the other end chanted as they did this.
What we know now about Jarrad Branthwaite at Everton
After getting hurt in the Crystal Palace game, Jarrad Branthwaite wasn’t sure if he would be able to play against Ipswich Town.
In an interesting twist, Sean Dyche said that Branthwaite could have played but they chose to rest him, which turned out to be the right choice.
While Dyche hasn’t had much good competition this season, Everton’s decision to stick with Keane has paid off.
After this, Everton could have a short run with games against Fulham, Southampton, and West Ham.
