What the Man United team does when a star player quits practice

That’s enough trouble for Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. When Marcus Rashford left a training drill, the Dutch manager may have thought, “Not again.”

It seems that the manager’s latest decision about the England international didn’t go over well in the locker room. Ten Hag has also criticized the striker in public for his behavior outside of football.

What it looks like to the outside world is a plan for disaster, and Rashford thinks it wouldn’t take much more to really light the blue touch paper.

It’s not just his fault that United is having a bad time right now, of course.

For starters, they look like a ship without a master. Ten Hag often just stood there and watched.

It looks like he can’t change the outcome of games when United isn’t winning, and the manager can only make so many excuses for a team that is in 12th place in the Premier League, 10 points behind leaders Liverpool after only eight games.

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford left a training drill.

Also, they’ve only scored seven goals, and only three of the English Premier League’s bottom four teams have worse records. It says a lot bad things about ten Hag’s rule.

Luckily for everyone, Rashford’s exit from a “rondo” drill this time was all in good fun.

Earlier, academy graduate Ethan Wheatley had hit him in the head, which made his teammates laugh as Rashford chose to take a break for a while.

Togetherness like that should help the team stay calm as they work to get out of their present funk.

Ten Hag will bet that the team will soon turn things around, because if they don’t, he knows he will have to take the blame.
