What Former Norwich director of football Webber about Raheem Sterling that got him super furious has been revealed
Sterling has played in 25 league games for Chelsea this season, hitting six goals and setting up six others. People have said that he wants to leave the club and move to Saudi Arabia, but he is going to pass on that chance as he tries to get back to his best at Stamford Bridge.
Raheem Sterling is “furious and deeply offended” by what Stuart Webber, the former Liverpool recruitment chief, said, according to The Mirror.
The Pinkun quotes Webber, who used to be the director of football for Norwich, as saying that Jonny Rowe, Abu Kamara, Max Aarons, Jamal Lewis, and Sterling needed their football careers to go well “because the alternative could be jail or something else.” According to The Mirror, Sterling and the other three players were angry about the comments. One of them even went so far as to ask Webber to explain himself in person. Webber has since apologized to some of the players and their families, the report says.
