Man City plays Luton Town at Kenilworth Road this evening in the FA Cup. The winners will move on to the quarterfinals.
The Blues want to keep the trophy they won last season as part of their memorable Treble-winning season. However, they will have to work hard to beat Luton, who has been hard for the best teams to beat at home. In fact, City had to come back from behind to beat Brighton in December in the Premier League.
Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne, who have both missed recent games while getting back to full health, start for the Blues. John Stones also starts for the third straight game. As expected, Josko Gvardiol can’t play because of an illness. Rodri, Ederson, and Phil Foden are on the bench.
Ortega, Walker, Stones, Akanji, Ake, Kovacic, Nunes, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Grealish, and Haaland make up City’s starting eleven. Ederson, Dias, Doku, Rodri, Alvarez, Gomez, Foden, Bobb, and Lewis are the subs.
