United will be playing at the Etihad today in the Premier League.
United defeated Nottingham Forest 1-0 in the FA Cup last week, securing their spot in the quarterfinals of the tournament. They now want to build on that win.
City also made it to the next round of the FA Cup after beating Luton Town in a stylish game at Kenilworth Road. Erling Haaland scored five goals in that game.
The Reds haven’t won at Manchester City since March 2021, when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge. Earlier this season, Pep Guardiola’s team beat United 3-0 at Old Trafford.
As United boss, Ten Hag has only beaten Guardiola once. That win came at Old Trafford last season, with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford giving Ten Hag a 2-1 win.
Raphael Varane and Bruno Fernandes are expected to be able to play, but Harry Maguire might not be able to come back after missing the game against Forest because of an illness.
Ederson, Ruben Dias, Phil Foden, and Rodri all got a day off in the middle of the week and should be ready to play for City.
