In a series of bizarre circumstances, the chairman of Nottingham Forest made his way onto the field after Liverpool won the match at the City Ground with a stunning goal scored in the 99th minute.

There were extended periods of frustration for the Reds, and it appeared as though they were moving in the direction of dropping points in the East Midlands.
