The last foreign break of the 2023–24 season is over, and Premier League football is back. As Ange Postecoglou’s team hosts Rob Edwards’ Luton Town at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 3pm, Spurs will be looking to forget their poor loss at Fulham.

Micky van de Ven is back in training after hurting his hamstring at Aston Villa, but Postecoglou has to decide whether to bring him back right away or give Radu Dragusin another chance to start before the Dutchman might be able to play again when they go on the road to West Ham in a couple of days. After still having knee pain from his previous injury, Richarlison practiced well on Friday. He didn’t play a minute for Brazil during the international break because of these problems.

Finally, Tottenham’s head coach will have to choose which players are the most rested after the international break. This is because Spurs want to put pressure on fourth-placed Aston Villa, who play Wolves later that same day.
