Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne have been brought back into the starting lineup for Manchester City’s game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon. Phil Foden is on the bench.
In the Premier League, City is three points behind Liverpool and one point behind Arsenal. Both of their rivals have tough games this weekend, starting with Palace at noon on Saturday for City. After being hurt, Ederson is back with Pep Guardiola, but he will only sit on the bench. Kyle Walker and Nathan Ake are still out.
Guardiola complained about having to wait two and a half days between games and said that he will choose his team later than usual to see who is healthy enough to play at Crystal Palace. He will be hoping that City can do better than their 2-2 draw with the Eagles at the Etihad earlier in the season.
Oscar Bobb is a surprise starter because Foden, Manu Akanji, Nathan Ake, Bernardo Silva, and Jeremy Doku will all be getting rest for this game.
