UNVEILED: Each WSL TV selection for the 2024/25 season so far has been confirmed.
Sky Sports and BBC have recently disclosed their most recent best broadcast selections for the forthcoming 2024/25 Barclays Women’s Super League, which demonstrates an expansion in coverage from the previous year.
Sky Sports and BBC, the current rights proprietors, were informed last month that they would broadcast 66 of the 132 fixtures between them. Sky and Now TV will also broadcast 44 games during the campaign, which is an increase from the 35 matches that were broadcast in the previous TV agreement.
The BBC will broadcast 22 live games, with at least 18 of them being broadcast on BBC One and BBC Two. Additionally, all of the games will be accessible on iPlayer. Fans will also have the opportunity to view the non-broadcast WSL fixtures and select Championship matches on the video sharing platform YouTube, which is owned by Google. This move will replace the FA’s own portal, the FA Player.
The channels will also feature regular non-match content, such as highlights, interviews, and engaging shoulder content. Adobe Women’s FA Cup fixtures and content will continue to be hosted by The FA Player.
