United’s £52 million star gives them an exciting recovery boost: “On the way back”
Since preseason, Manchester United has not had their £52 million signing.
In his most recent report on his injury for Manchester United, Leny Yoro says he is “on the way back.”
After breaking his metatarsal in the first half of August’s 2-1 loss to Arsenal in Los Angeles, the 18-year-old defender has yet to play in a game for his new team. After successful surgery at the start of August, Yoro was supposed to be able to go back to work in November.
Concerning his latest injury report, the French defender posted a video of himself running on a treadmill on social media on Wednesday, along with the words “on the way back.”
After being out for so long, United won’t rush Yoro back into action, but the news that he is now fully healthy is a huge boost for Erik ten Hag, who is under fire as manager and has high hopes for the center-back.
United bought Yoro from Lille for £52.18 million, with an option for an extra £6.73 million. They sign him until 2029 and think he can become one of the best defenders in the world.
Ten Hag gave a report on the center back last month, before he might come back next month: “Yes, things are going well for him. His recovery is going well, which makes me happy. I expect him soon, but what I mean by that is that he is now in the right planning process. You’re right about him. He will get back to the squad and then the team training as soon as possible.
