Manchester United
The Red Devils are claiming the Premier League title under former manager Jose Mourinho.
According to Jose Mourinho, manager of Fenerbahce, he could still get a Premier League winners’ medal for his time as Manchester United’s manager in 2017–18, when the Red Devils came second in the league, behind Manchester City.
After Mourinho’s leadership, Man United finished second in England’s Premier League, 19 points behind winners Man City. However, City could lose that title and others if they are found guilty of breaking financial rules.
Manchester City is being charged with 115 offences for allegedly breaking the Premier League’s financial rules from 2009 to 2018. Mourinho, who is now in charge of Fenerbahce, has wondered if he might be getting another award.
“That was different for me; we won the Europa League and came in second in the Premier League.” We might still win that league if they strike Manchester City with points. In a Wednesday news conference, Mourinho said, “They have to pay me the bonus and this medal.”
The Portuguese player is getting ready for Thursday night’s Europa League match against Fenerbahce, which will be played in Turkey and featuring his old team.
“The best” is what Mourinho wants for Man United.
Between May 2016 and December 2018, Mourinho was in charge of Man United. During that time, the club won the EFL Cup, the Community Shield, and the Europa League. The 61-year-old has said that he has no bad feelings toward the English giants.
“I didn’t waste a second thinking about it,” she said. Since I left, I’ve wished Manchester United the best. “I felt good about the club and its fans when I left, and I want the best for them,” he said.
“It doesn’t make me happy if things aren’t going really well for them.” But I don’t have time to think about what did or did not happen. Such thoughts make no sense to me.
“What happened for sure is that they now trust the coach [Erik ten Hag] and back him up. He stays on for another season.” “That means stability and trust, which means he can keep his job.”
Mourinho says that Man United and Tottenham are the favorites to win the Europa League
Also, Mourinho said that Man United and Tottenham Hotspur, two of his old teams, are the favorites to win the Europa League this season, even though both of them are having problems in their own leagues.
“If I have to say now which are the two biggest candidates to win the Europa League, I think it’s easy – Manchester United and Tottenham,” said the guy.
“The Premier League is an entirely different level of quality, intensity, speed, tactical culture, and everything else.” My guess is that we will play one of the two best teams tomorrow.
“Maybe you English guys think I’m lying or messing with your minds.” It doesn’t matter what I play; their team is better than the scores show. I looked at them as much as I could. There is work to be done in the Premier League and in the Europa League against Twente and Porto in the past.
“They’ll get it done eventually.” I hope it’s sooner rather than later that I play them again when I return to the Premier League. They’re only my opponents for one match right now.”
This season, Man United has played two Europa League games and earned two points. They are currently 21st in the table, while Fenerbahce is 13th after earning four points from their first two games.
