The Ivan Toney deal marks the finish of  player who was perceived as a “standout talent” by Chelsea executives.

Chelsea’s pursuit of Ivan Toney has resulted in an uncertain future for another high-income acquisition.

The signing of Ivan Toney by Chelsea during the summer transfer window may facilitate the departure of striker Christopher Nkunku from the club after only one season in English football.
