Everton
The Everton trade plan is being made by Dan Purdy – When a recruiter talks about looking in a new area,
Fans of Everton are looking forward to the Friedkin era and hope that the team will be better at hiring players. Not only is more money being invested, but it’s also being spent better.
For the second time, Ole Nielsen was recently hired by the club as an International Scout to focus on the Scandinavian area. He talked to TipsBladet about how the move came about.
According to Tipsbladet, Nielsen said, “I have kept in touch with Dan Purdy since I stopped practicing in 2018.” A lot of people in sports work together.
“We’ve kept in touch, and when I was there the first time, we worked well together.” I’ve helped them out when he asked about some players informally, and he’s then put me in touch with people at other teams.
Additionally, Nielsen said that Everton will probably focus more on the Scandinavian market, and that his hire could help shape that strategy.
“They wish to put more attention on Scandinavia, and Dan Purdy believed I was the best person to do it.”
Since Jesper Lindstrom just joined Everton in the summer, the club may be changing its objectives.
Toffees only has a part-time Nielsen, and he currently works full-time at Brann.
It’s clear that Everton is working the links again because he has also worked at Odense and Helsingor in the past.
Cheaper players can be signed in Scandinavia, and the Merseyside club might want to move into that market.
