Frank McAvennie, a former Scotland international, has persuaded Leeds to accept Liverpool’s £50 million offer for Archie Gray.

On November 10, the Daily Mail reported that Liverpool is preparing a £50 million offer to acquire the ambidextrous midfielder.

He is capable of performing defensive midfielder, box-to-box midfielder, and right back duties. Clearly, Jurgen Klopp is intrigued by this versatility, as it would enable him to execute rotations with enhanced simplicity.

McAvennie advised Football Insider that Leeds should accept Liverpool’s $50 million offer, but only if they initially retain him on loan.

“I believe they (Leeds) should sell him (Gray),” McAvennie stated.

“Take the funds, but retain him as a loan.” He is not currently a member of the Everton squad and is not likely to make the Liverpool roster.

“Everyone would be better off with it.” His value may increase as the season nears its conclusion.

“It seems unlikely that anyone will purchase him in January.” It is unlikely that he is doing that well without substantial financial investment.

“Whoever desires him, if he is not prepared for the Premier League, should come and loan him back immediately.”

“I would endeavor to accomplish that, as it would grant you funds for the month of January.” They both benefit from this. “Farke will be cognizant of his requirements.”

Although Stefan Bajcetic, a 19-year-old talent at Liverpool, is already capable of playing as a defensive midfielder, there is no such thing as an excess of young players emerging from the youth system.
