United is still interested in Eberechi Eze, a star player for Crystal Palace.

On his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano said that Man United’s top goal for the next transfer window is still to sign a talented winger like Eze.

“United wants to buy a winger in 2025.” It hasn’t been decided yet, Romano said, but he confirmed, “Eze is definitely one of the players they have been looking at.”

Romano said, “His release clause is around £60 million.” He then warned that doing business with Palace hasn’t always been easy.

„We know that Crystal Palace’s terms are always hard to understand because we saw that with Michael Olise. But Eze will definitely have a release clause, and it has an important detail.

“The major part of the payment has to be made up front,” Romano said, which means that United will need to make sure they have enough money before they can sign Eze.

If United feel that Eze is worth the £60 million price tag, they may need to move quickly to make sure they don’t miss out on this highly sought-after star.

Other teams that want to sign Eze are Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. Both of these teams are still apparently in the running for the Palace star.

It is very important for United to get a new player who can play well. There are some bright young players at United, like Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo, but they will need more help as they play in the Europa League, League Cup, and FA Cup, in addition to the Premier League.

Marcus Rashford seems to have found his form again after how well he played at Porto, but he has had a hard time staying consistent this season.

Additionally, Jadon Sancho’s time at United seems to be over as he continues his loan at Chelsea. Antony also looks like he is leaving the club, as they are reportedly ready to let him leave in January.

Should both Sancho and Antony’s time with United come to an end, the club may need to sign a big star like Eze in order to get through the next few months.
