Everton and Fulham tied 1-1 on Saturday (October 26), with Idrissa Gueye’s shot blocked by the goal. Louis Saha was blown away by the play.

The Senegalese midfielder got the ball and then fired a strike from the edge of the box that beat Bernd Leno, the goalie, but missed the crossbar.

After Dominic Calvert-Lewin did a great job of pounce on the rebound, the crowd at Goodison Park went crazy. However, a VAR review gave the striker another chance to score.

Saha said on Saturday, October 26, at 6:21 p.m., live on Sky Sports: “The strike deserves a finish.” That’s not possible.

Following Saha’s comment, Jamie Redknapp said, “This is a great angle—look at the dip.” It’s just not possible.

When Everton lost to Fulham, Idrissa Gueye was so close to scoring a beautiful goal.
An Alex Iwobi goal put the Toffees behind in the last few minutes, and Beto had to save them. In the end, both teams tied for the win at Goodison Park.

The goal from Gueye from far away was one of the few good things that happened in the match. It took Sean Dyche’s team until the fourth minute of extra time to score again.

The Toffees are now six points above the relegation zone. The only team between them and Crystal Palace, in 18th place, is Ipswich Town, but Palace hasn’t lost in six games.

Even though Dyche’s team had won eight points in their last four games before the Fulham game, they are still very much in the relegation battle, and their next two games against Southampton and West Ham will be very important.

After winning nine points in their last five games, Dyche’s team is still in the relegation battle, but their future games against Southampton and West Ham can now be seen as building blocks instead of tough tests.
