Everton
Since Jose Mourinho was linked to the Everton manager job, what he said about Dan Friedkin this year is very interesting.
Everton hasn’t said much about Sean Dyche’s future, but the fact that his current deal is coming to an end makes a lot of noise.
In the end, it’s clear that he wasn’t brought in as a long-term choice when the deal to hire him was being made.
The man who used to play for Burnley did amazing things at Turf Moor on a very small budget, often going above and beyond what was expected of him. It was hoped that he could bring the same stability and willingness to work hard to Goodison Park.
Even though there have been some good moments, things have not been easy for the Everton boss.
In that case, it makes sense that both his contract hasn’t been extended yet and a lot of names are being linked to his job.
After firing Dan Friedkin from AS Roma, Jose Mourinho went after him.
It was said that Everton want to hire Jose Mourinho to replace Dyche, with Dan Friedkin leading the charge. This was one of the most important rumors about the Toffees’ future.
The American millionaire hired and then fired the famous Portuguese coach while he was with AS Roma, so this would be a very strange move on his part.
In February, Mourinho said this about the Friedkin Group, which was reported by the Liverpool Echo: “The European competitions are about to begin, in particular the Champions League, perhaps the world’s most important competition on the calendar.” This was said a month after he was fired.
This is why I won’t be there: I wasn’t “eliminated” because I was already out, but because of someone who doesn’t know much about sports. That’s life; it has ups and downs. I’m growing, even though I was fired without warning and unfairly.
Everton is counting on Dan Friedkin to keep them out of the relegation fights.
The exact date of Friedkin’s takeover of Everton is still not clear, but there are good reasons to believe it will happen before the January trade window.
So, hopefully, this will give them enough time to look at how the club is doing now and decide if big changes need to be made before the end of the season.
People hope that, at the very least, this new group of owners can keep Everton from falling back into the relegation zone.
Fans might even have some success in the long run if they’re lucky.
Everton fans know that this isn’t a given, and if there’s one thing they learned from Farhad Moshiri’s time as owner, it’s that you can’t expect anything from them.
There is cautious hope, though, about this new ownership group, even though it is said that they want to hire Mourinho again.
